Gluten-free foods are notorious for their weird flavours. Our product is made from unique but pleasant tasting grains that enhance the other elements of the dish that they're incorporated into.

Light, Soft Crumb
Gluten-free baking is a whole different ball game from baking with regular wheaten flours. It's not unusual to end up with a loaf of bread that is unacceptably dense, dry, gummy or gritty when using alternative flours and pre-mixes currently on the market. Our pre-mixes have been carefully formulated and our recommended techniques meticulously honed to produce aerated, wheaten-like results.

It's great if it feels good and tastes good but does it look good? We assure you that what you're buying is not one of those pre-mixes that produce a dumpy version of what you had in mind. If you follow our recipe and method, besides amazing flavour and texture, you will end off with a piece of work pleasing to the eyes.

Nourishing Sorghum & Oats Bases
Sorghum flour is a rich source of phytochemicals (anti-oxidants) such as phenolic acid and anthocyanin. These help protect your health from cancer, heart disease and diabetes. Oats has polysaccharides called beta-glucans which are known to fight bacteria, fungus and toxins. Essentially oats is anticarcinogenic. Both these grains are exceptionally high in fibre.

NO Freakish Chemicals!
Because gluten-free flours don't have any gluten in them, they lack important properties needed to produce the baking results people have become familiar with using traditional flours and pre-mixes. To overcome these setbacks gluten-free producers add all sorts of "improvers" to their products to make them perform as desired. We refuse to use any of these strange chemicals... NO Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose; a chemical more commonly used in eye drops! NO Carboxymethylcellulose; a chemical used as a colloid laxative (ask Google )! And no other long-winded-name, lab-created chemical compounds for that matter.

Vegan Options
We imitate the properties of gluten through the addition of three naturally derived elements to our flour pre-mixes. One of these is dehydrated milk (dairy). For a vegan alternative we are able to achieve the same results using Non-GMO soya milk powder. When ordering simply opt for the dairy-free option.
